Monday Move

As I’m sure many of you know, House will be moving to Mondays at 8:00 PM Eastern when the winter hiatus ends on January 19, 2009.   This will precede 24 which is returning to Fox’s Monday schedule.    House’s previously occupied spot on Tuesday nights at 8 is going to American Idol while the old 9PM spot will stay with Fringe.

It’s a little odd to see a hit show move around as much as House does.   For comparison sake, CSI on CBS has been in a steady timeslot for all but half of their first season.   It’s a risky move that could cause the show to lose viewers, something they’ve already done this season thus far.
